The Fischmädchen-Brunnen in Winterthur's Steinberggasse was created by Genfer Bildhauer Max Weber and features a 1.70m high bronze sculpture of a fish girl. The sculpture was donated by Ernst zum Schneeberg, allegedly as a form of tax penalty. The fountain was first installed in 1938 to beautify the then-unsightly Hintergasse.
